The Northern California Chapter was chartered as a Chapter of NECA on January 8, 1944. On Saturday, February 2, 2019, members, associates, partners and guests gathered for the Chapter’s 75th Anniversary Gala at the beautiful Blackhawk Museum. Guests were welcomed by a string trio while they socialized and explored the museum exhibits. Executive Director Greg Armstrong offered some interesting tidbits about the Chapter’s history – offering special recognition to long time members Brayer Electric Company; Collins Electrical Company, Inc.; Niles Electric Company, Inc.; Napa Electric Shop; Red Top Electric Company, Inc.’ and Morrow Meadows. Mr. Armstrong also took the opportunity to present Long Electric with a 25 year membership plaque. Chapter President Greg Long welcomed attendees and introduced special guest National NECA President David Long who presented the Board and Chapter with a plaque in honor of the Chapter’s 75th Anniversary.
