What is a Mechanics Lien? A Mechanics Lien is a “hold” against your property, filed by an unpaid contractor, subcontractor, laborer, or material supplier, and is recorded with the County recorder’s office. If unpaid, it allows a foreclosure action, forcing the sale of the property in lieu of compensation. Learn what happens if a lien is filed against your property by attending this two hour seminar.
Attorney William M. Kaufman will cover other debt collection remedies and tips that contractors find helpful. He also plans to cover preliminary notices, mechanics liens, stop payment notices, payment bond claims and the “top five tips for contractors to collect hard earned dollars.”
Complete the below registration form to confirm your attendance.
Note: Classes are subject to cancellation one week in advance, in the event sufficient registration is not received. No refunds one week prior to class.
